Their debut album “Love & Hope & Sex & Dreams” was released in 1986 and received little reaction from critics and music fans.  By the time their second album “Outside Looking In” dropped, BoDeans was once again a trio. With this record, they broke into the Billboard Top 100.

The band gained tremendous exposure by then touring alongside U2.  The single, “Close To Free,” has been their most successful single to date as the theme song for television’s Party of Five.  In the 90’s, the band took a break for some members to focus on solo projects.

BoDeans returned in 2004 and have since continued to release new material despite member and label changes.  Their newest album, “Mr. Sad Clown” was just released this past April.  Now through August catch BoDeans on the road in support of the new record.
